Lakka ry, Friends of the Orchestra was founded by a group of
friends of live art music in November 1998. At the moment we are about
140 members.
Lakka arranges
meetings and parties with musicians, composers and visiting soloists.
For example, as a proof of the Lappish hospitality we have visited a
reindeer farm and different kinds of saunas with many of our foreign
visitors over the years.
Lakka
supports Lapland Chamber Orchestra in many different ways. It is there
to create a living relationship between the orchestra and the audience.
Lakka is there for those who want to join the network of listeners of live art music.
